Who we are
Earth Plantation LLC (EP) is an Omaha, Nebraska based private equity and consulting firm focused on agribusiness and natural resources. Leveraging our global network of field experts, we work with investors across the world in identifying and developing investment projects and delivering profitable results. What makes us unique, is that we’re not only investors and business developers -- we are farmers too. Our families have been in the farming business for 125 years, so we grew up in the business and we understand it exceptionally well. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative ideas with shared success. We believe that success requires understanding, respect and trust; a core set of values we embrace in all of our relationships.
Our Focus
EP focuses exclusively on investments in agribusinesses and natural resources. Our expertise in Ag ranges from investments in farmland and dairy farms to commodities trading in DDGs, embryos reproduction and heifers exports. In natural resources, we focus on investments in Oil & Gas including biofuels like ethanol, while in Mining we specialize in Coal, Copper and Iron Ore.
Our Strategy
EP helps investors identify, evaluate and select the best investment option, secure financing and navigate local regulations. Through partnerships, EP will directly invest in projects and negotiate the right ownership structure. To align investors’ interests EP places experienced management teams in each investment, making sure there are longterm skin-in-the-game incentives for all.
